Curriculum Vision for History
At Scartho Junior Academy, we will help facilitate children's fascination and factual understanding of ‘Their story’ from the past that influences future generations. We will encourage a thirst and curiosity for knowledge about our neighbourhood, Britain and the wider world. By enabling all pupils to develop the skills of researching, critical questioning, and weighing of evidence for bias and reliability of sources, children will make reasoned links between the lives and events of people of the past and how it influences the present and shapes the future.
