Board of Trustees Training
Keeping up to date with training requirements is a key role of all trustees. To facilitate and support this, we buy into the NGA's Learning Link. This online learning platform allows trustees to undertake statutory and strategic training. As well as completing designated training, trustees also have the freedom to control their own professional development.
During the academic year 2022/23, trustees have undertaken safeguarding training and are currently working through the module on 'Governance: your role, your responsibilities, your organisation.'
As well as the above training, trustees have also taken part in training commissioned from the NGA on 'Developing a Vision for your Trust'. As part of our strategic development of the trust and trustees, all three chairs will be taking part in a 'Chairs' DevelopmentTraining Programme' that is run by the NGA.
