Additional Funding

During the academic year 2021 - 2022, 92 pupils recieved at least 15 hours of school led tutoring for maths or reading.  Some of these pupils recieved tutoring for both subjects. This was delivered in small groups by a qualified teacher.

The end of year statement was submitted to ESFA in July 2022 after all tuition was completed.  Strategic planning and careful timetabling ensured that we targetted as many disadvantaged pupils in order to narrow the gap using the availabel funding.  We expect that the ESFA will be recouping a minial amount of this grant (less than £1000, which has been budgeted using PPG allocations)

This year (2022 - 2023), we will again be using a qualified teacher to deliver maths and reading tutoring to small groups of pupils.  It has been planned to target those in year 3 first based on baseline data and high numbers of disadvantaged pupils (20/60 pupils).
