Reading homework should be completed every week. All of the children are expected to read and record it in their diaries at least three times a week (they may choose to do more!) to become a reading star. They can read a mixture of things including the school reading scheme books, library books, home books, comics, magazines and e-books to name but a few!
I have never had 100% of my class become a reading star - will this be our year 5F?
Remember, this is homework and you should ALL be completing your reading three times. You also MUST make sure your reading record is signed by an adult and in school on Friday or I cannot award you a star.
Every week the children are expected to learn and practise their times tables. Depending on the Maths group they are in, this may also involve knowing the corresponding division facts as well.
Remember you all have access to Mathletics if you want some additional practice at home.
For homework sheets for each group, please see the homework tab. Spelling homework should be returned to school by Friday each week.
