Due to technology, the world is becoming a much smaller place. As part of the learning at Scartho Junior Academy, we ensure that all our children become more aware of the world that they live in and the growing role of being global citizens.
One key area that helps us develop this knowledge is our participation in the Erasmus+ Project. This project links us with a number of other schools and countries from around the European Union. A key aim of the project is to develop children's knowledge of other cultures and countries. This aim is primarily scaffolded by a wide range of activities/projects that take place in schools as well as joint visits to each others' schools. The countries that we are linked to are Estonia, Romania, Poland, Italy, Turkey and Spain.
